ZITT Permanent Magnet Motor IE4 (ZPM)

The synchronous high performance standard motors of the ZPM series are brushless permanent synchronous motors with counter-EMF. They have buried permanent magnets in the rotor. The stator contains a three-phase winding that can be connected in a star or delta configuration and is supplied by a frequency converter.

The motor has no brushes, the commutation is done electronically in the corresponding frequency converter.

Design ZITT Compact Drive IE 5 (ZKPM)

The synchronous high performance standard motors of the ZPM and ZKPM series are brushless permanent synchronous motors with counter-EMF. The ZITT motors run at the highest efficiency class according to the IEC standard. An investment pays off after only two years. What is good for your energy-optimised building is also good for the environment.

ZITT Compact Drive IE 5 (ZKPM): intelligent communication – efficient maintenance

The change is transmitted to the compact drive via Bluetooth.

ZITT- Cloud

Via its own cloud, ZITT-Net, data can be controlled and modified directly from the head office.

The data is transferred through the interface cable.

With the smartphone, each individual compact drive can be controlled on site. Parameters can be adjusted and new data sets read in.

With the notebook, various changes to the parameters, updates and new data sets can be transmitted on site.

Remote maintenance by ZITT Motoren AG possible. In the event of a failure of your system, this allows us to react immediately.

Ventilation systems

Our motors are perfectly suited for ventilation systems. In addition to new installations, we are also available for maintenance and repair work. The following services are covered:

Maintenance

  • Visual condition assessment of the drive elements
  • Winding assessments
  • Vibration & ball bearing analyses
  • Re-greasing of motor and fan bearings
  • Ensuring correct drive alignment and belt tension
  • Preventing unscheduled machine breakdowns

Repair and modernisation

  • Replacement of drives to IE5 incl. commissioning
  • Replacement of drives incl. electrical installation (e.g. drive motor with frequency converter)
  • Replacement of ball bearings of motors and fans on site
  • Replacement of the drive elements after checking the design, re-designing using Optibelt CAP calculation programme if necessary
  • In the case of larger repairs, dismantling of the motor or fan incl. transport to the workshop and back

For each repair, we strive for the most energy-optimised solution.

  • Rewinding of motors of all brands or conversion of the system to a standard motor
  • Replacing bearings or sealing motors and gearboxes directly on site
  • For larger repairs: disassembly of the motor or gearbox incl. transport to the workshop and back, electrical connections and commissioning after the repair.
